Does the person signing need a Jira account?

No. Unlike other electronic signature apps currently available, no Jira account is needed to use the app. The signee simply signs on the screen, which is what makes Real Signature convenient for all users and suited to in-person sign-off from customers.

What devices does it work on?

Real Signature works on desktop, tablet and mobile. Signatures can be drawn with a cursor, stylus or finger, so an engineer can collect a signature on a phone, tablet or PC screen in the field.

Can I produce a signed document?

Yes. You can generate a PDF containing the signature directly from the issue. Signed issues can be exported straight to PDF from the app, ready to share with your customer.

Is a history of each signature kept?

Yes. The app maintains a detailed history of signature usage. The user and date that the signature was taken are recorded in the issue, and multiple signatures can be added to a single issue.
