Whether you are aiming for cost optimisation, process improvement, or platform evaluation, our strategic assessments give you the insight and direction needed to succeed. Platforms we deliver on

What we offer

Five assessments that give you a decision you can stand behind.

Each engagement is scoped up front and priced as a fixed fee, so you know the cost and the deliverable before we start.

01

Requirements analysis

Start with confidence. Our expert consultants run rapid discovery workshops to identify goals, pain points and stakeholder needs — distilling these into clear, actionable requirements.

  • Discovery workshops — Led by experienced consultants.
  • Documented needs — Business needs, challenges and opportunities captured.
  • Prioritised requirements — Prioritised requirements and early prototypes.
  • Foundation — A foundation for future platform selection or implementation.
02

Tool evaluation & selection

Choosing the right platform can make or break success. We assess your current tool landscape, business objectives and processes to help you make the best choice — objectively and independently. We have helped customers evaluate HaloITSM vs Jira Service Management; GLPI, Device42, Freshworks, Asana, Lansweeper, Sonatype and others; and migration readiness and total cost of ownership.

  • Evaluation criteria — Based on your goals.
  • Comparison matrix — A comparison matrix of shortlisted tools.
  • Executive summary — With platform recommendations.
  • Proof of concept — Proof-of-concept or sandbox setup (optional).
03

Process improvement assessments

Discover where processes are leaking time and money. Our assessments reveal inefficiencies, bottlenecks and risks — then propose practical optimisations, supported by best practices. Use this service to improve customer experience and team collaboration, streamline HR, marketing or IT workflows, and adopt scalable frameworks (e.g. ITIL, Agile, OKRs).

  • Mapped workflows — Mapped current-state workflows.
  • Pain-point analysis — Pain-point analysis and prioritised improvements.
  • Optimisation roadmap — An actionable optimisation roadmap.
04

Cost optimisation reviews

Cut unnecessary spend — without compromising performance. We examine your platforms, licences and processes to find opportunities for consolidation, cost savings and value extraction.

  • Usage analysis — Platform and licence usage analysis.
  • Redundancy — Redundancy and overlap identification.
  • Recommendations — Recommendations for cost-effective configurations.
  • Strategy — A strategy for optimisation and scaling.
05

ITSM maturity review

BDQ's ITSM maturity review assesses how your service management performs against ITIL best practice, and where it will pay to improve.

  • Align — Align IT services with business strategy.
  • Benchmark — Benchmark against industry best practices.
  • Roadmap — Receive a structured, evidence-based roadmap for improvement.
  • Follow-on — Optional follow-on implementation support.

Common questions

Assessment & strategy — frequently asked.

Is there a difference between an assessment and an implementation?

Yes. Assessments are strategic — we define problems and recommend solutions. Implementation is about delivering those solutions. BDQ does both.

How long does an assessment take?

Most assessments are completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on scope. All are remote-first with minimal disruption.

Are these services limited to a certain product or tool?

No. We are vendor-neutral in our assessments and work with multiple partner technologies, including Asana, HaloITSM, Freshworks and more.

Can BDQ help us after the assessment?

Yes. We offer Enhancement Hours for ongoing support, as well as full implementation services for your chosen tools or improvements.

Can I buy more time later?

Absolutely. Additional blocks can be purchased at any time. Discounts are available for bulk purchases.
