The time has come...

It's time for us to show how agile we can be and take the plunge and actually participate in the social media scrum.

“The time has come”, the Walrus said, “to speak of many things”.

In the past BDQ’s social media approach has been, how can I put it, a bit half-hearted. Like many companies, we set up a number of profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter but then have not made the most of them. Leaving them to sit and wait, with the digital equivalent of dust settling on them.

This sad state of affairs is about to change.

We have come to realise that being active on social media is a great way to tell people about who we are and what we do but more importantly to enter into conversation with prospects, customers and industry experts about who they are and what they do.

Spurred on by some of the great resources on the Hootsuite blog we’ve been doing some research and have been amazed at the amount of interesting information out there, for example #DataQuality and #DataGovernance hashtags are great resources of up to the minute articles, opinion and expertise in a crucial area of IT.
